J is for... Jaeger.

Woke up to a very exciting email this morning...

Jaeger are doing 20% off EVERYTHING from tomorrow until midnight on Sunday!!

Discounts are all going to be applied automatically so no need for codes or anything (could they make it any easier!?)

It's not too early for Christmas hints, right? Here we go...

E is for... Essex Fashion Week (One Day Winter Show)

I had a working-weekend this weekend, as I was asked by the lovely Jemma Cross from Ella-Tino (one of the brands that I work with) to go to Essex Fashion Week's One Day Winter Show. This turned out to be quite the experience! My colleague Sheila and I both went to support Ella-Tino who are an Essex based retailer stocking clothes, shoes and accessories.

V is for... Versace.

Everyone seems to be talking about the Versace and H&M collaboration at the moment. The consensus is that people 'CAN'T WAIT!' for the collection to be brought out in November. But I can't help but wonder if I am the only one who is struggling to get my head around the pieces? I mean, they've made some beautiful choices, such as these that I personally love:

A is for... Alternative Accessories.

With Halloween just around the corner, I have been getting in the mood by checking out some alternative accessories that have caught my eye of late. It would seem that everyone's jumping on the 'rock chick' bandwagon, and with some of the great designers taking the lead (as always), I might be next to get up there on that cart. It all started with this:

N is for.... New flat!

I thought I would do a post about my new flat! As everyone is getting very nosy about it. So I will give you the grand (picture) tour....

B is for... Back!

I've been a little slack with my blogging of late. Being ill, moving into my new flat and generally being ridiculously busy has rendered me unable to blog- BUT I'm back, and back will a full three outfit posts! That doesn't sound that many, since I haven't blogged in over 2 weeks, but I can assure you- it's not that I've only worn clothes on three occasions, it's just that I haven't been photographed everyday (surprising!). I have also had a most excellent weekend in London with my sisters, which I will also share with you, mainly by the medium of photography...

P is for... Plymouth.

I retreated to Devon this weekend for some much needed R&R. Rest and relaxation was the plan (which in my defence, was achieved the majority of the time), but i decided to meet my friend Elle for an early drink in Plymouth Friday night and UNFORTUNATELY it turned into quite the night out! Plymouth's just one if those places that seems to make me ridiculously unaware of my limits.

H is for... Hilarious! (May cause offence)

I am rekindling my love for Jon Lajoie tonight with a few friends and thought I would share these videos for anyone who's not familiar. He's actually hilarious! You should definitely take time to watch these videos.

WARNING: All videos include satire adult themes and/or bad language!

J is for... Jack Wills.

The Jack Wills debate. Known to destroy friendships and escalate bullying. Can Jack Wills do no wrong/right (delete as you see fit)?

I have to say, growing up in and around (hate that phrase) Salcombe, I have always been some what on the fence throughout my time when it comes to whether Jack Wills is cool or ridiculous. In it's hometown I find it acceptable- certainly, if you're cold and need a jumper, there are limited shops where you can acquire one in small Salcombe, so by default, Jack Wills often becomes the shop of choice. Plus, their logos often pay tribute to the Salcombe Estuary and surrounding areas, which becomes novelty in the right setting.

W is for... Wedding crashing.

My friends and I crashed a wedding this weekend. Socially awkward. At least, that's what I thought, but it actually wasn't! My friend Jack had an invite, which read:
'Samantha English and Nigel Stewart kindly request the prescence of Jack, friend and dancing shoes to join them in celebrating their wedding at an evening reception'
Which Jack read and took to mean 'bring a car full of people we dont know to our wedding please'.

L is for... The Law of Fashion.

I've been having a great time reading about James Laver tonight. In case you don't know who he is (I didn't), he was a museum curator for the Victoria and Albert Museum in London from the '30s through the '50s. He was also a fashion theorist and historian and came up with this brilliant timeline of the rise and fall of trends in fashion...

H is for... House hunting.

Just spent the whole afternoon having an (executive) meeting with my friends Jack, Calvin and Cat in The Norwood in Cheltenham. After we crashed a wedding last night (blog post to come, awaiting photos), we decided we would grab some lunch, nurse our hangovers and discuss Jack and Calvin's newest venture; house buying.
